About

Kromaki is a production company driven by a passion for storytelling on screen. From comedy to drama, from sports to politics, we engage with a wide range of themes, formats, tones, and perspectives. We believe that series and films should move and surprise, entertain and provoke thought—preferably all at once.
Our most recent successes include the fiction series “Children Of The Church Steps” (Netflix), by Luis Lomenha and Márcia Faria, and the documentary series “Romário – The Man” (Max), by Bruno Maia, both released in 2024.
That same year, we premiered two feature films at the Rio Film Festival and the São Paulo International Film Festival: the drama “Martina’s Surch”, directed by Márcia Faria, in co-production with Brazil’s Ipanema Filmes and Uruguay’s Criatura and Básico; and the horror film “The Inheritance”, directed by João Cândido Zacharias and co-produced by Bubbles Project. We also brought to theaters our first international co-production, the drama “The Fisherman’s Daughter”, directed by Colombian filmmaker Edgar De Luque.
Still in 2024, we launched two television productions: the musical series “Som Sertanejo” (Multishow), directed by Ana Rieper; and the cooking show “Xodó de Cozinha” (TV Brasil), hosted by Regina Tchelly and directed by Pedro Asbeg.
Previously, we released the documentary “Isabella: The Nardoni Case” (Netflix), directed by Cláudio Manoel and Micael Langer, and the series “My Friend Bussunda” (Globoplay), also by Cláudio and Micael, alongside Júlia Besserman; and “Lei da Selva” (Canal Brasil), directed by Pedro Asbeg and narrated by Marcelo Adnet.
In theaters, we also released the documentary “O Mês Que Não Terminou”, co-produced with Canal Curta!, directed by Francisco Bosco and Raul Mourão and narrated by Fernanda Torres; and the comedy “Juntos e Enrolados”, directed by Rodrigo Van Der Put and Eduardo Vaisman and starring Rafael Portugal and Cacau Protásio.
Currently, among other projects, Kromaki is developing the show “Nesse Canto Eu Conto”, hosted by Sandy for Multishow; the documentary series “Nelson Vezes Quatro” for Canal Brasil; and a feature film about Alessandra Montagne, the Brazilian chef who became a sensation in Paris.
Also in 2025, we will shoot the fiction feature “Mc Estrela”, by Renata Sofia, in co-production with Mixer. We are also working on an adaptation of the book “De Gados e Homens”, by Ana Paula Maia.
